It was probably the best goal I can think of in the world cup.It was beautiful coordination.A corner headed backwards to be headed sideways on to the goal by Schneider.Well , thereafter Brazil never came back.Brazil did not show anything of worldclass to handle the tight spot they were in.They had lost the game in the 70th minute when Dutch hit the second goal.That was a disappointment.
The beginning of the match had seen Brazil take the lead in the tenth minute or so and one could feel the airs of an overconfident winner.Brazil was not at all prepared to fight from back.The attitude towards the game that Brazil had displayed in the first round against South Korea was not there in this game.Maicon had scored an amazing goal and was humbled to have got through the tight competition from South Korea.
Today , Brazil was all airs and once they were down on the scoreboard , all eleven of them lost their balls.They never fought back.
I still feel unsure on where my emotions are.This is the first match in the worldcup so far that has really touched me.I have watched so far just to watch a good game not caring much on who wins.I am more of an Argentina fan.So in that sense,it is good for me.But no, I am not happy.I am shocked(low decibel).
Guess , it is like it is totally unexpected and I am not able to come to terms with this....
